If you are looking for a flouerescent light bulb to replace traditional light bulbs around your house, this is the best choice I've found so far.The bulb is about the same width as a standard bulb, but it is a bit longer, so it may not fit in every device that takes standard bulbs.It does, however, fit in my lamp, which makes me happy.
The best part about this bulb is the light it produces.It is very bright for a compact fluorescent, but it doesn't have the super-white color that is typical of fluorescent lights.The key to selecting a CF light bulb that produces good light is to look for a 2800K bulb.This one is.Most of the other bulbs on amazon are 5000K bulbs, which produce a very bright white light that looks too fluorescent.
In Panasonic bulbs, you can tell if the bulb is 2800K or 5000K by looking at the second number in the model name.If the second number is 28, its a 2800K bulb.If the second number is 50, its a 5000K bulb.The first number indicates the wattage.
Thus, this bulb is a 28 watt, 2800K bulb.
